This is a fun, energetic class combining street dance, hip-hop and jazz. This style of dance can be seen in music videos by pop artists such as: Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Ciara and Usher to name a few. Classes will be tasteful and age appropriate.
Irish dancing is a type of dance originating in Ireland and is traditionally referred to as STEP DANCE. It became popular in 1994 by the world famous show “River Dance”. It is known for its rapid leg movements while keeping the body and arms stationary. Irish Step offers many benefits including physical fitness, memory, concentration, as well as poise and confidence
This exciting, upbeat style emphasizes proper body alignment and clean technique. Classes include stretch and strength exercises, a jazz bare warm-up and center and across the floor exercises and combinations. Students will work on body isolations, musicality, and turns, kicks and jumps. Ballet is strongly recommended as an enhancement to this class and essential for those striving toward the highest level of skill.
A fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. Movements in lyrical dance are choreographed to show the meaning of the music and are characterized by their grace, emotion and fluidity. Students are asked to have some background in ballet and jazz.
.This upbeat class gives an introduction to acting through dance Broadway-style dance technique and choreography. Students will learn numbers from popular musical productions, past and present. This is an excellent class for students to develop self-confidence and show-stopping stage presence.
A continuation of ballet on pointe shoes. To be eligible for pointe work, a student must have strong ballet technique, correct body placement, proper physical qualifications, and a self disciplined attitude.
This class teaches rhythmic skills, coordination, precision and musicality. Students will learn tap fundamentals and steps and combinations as well as explore a variety of tap styles.
By practicing yoga poses, children can learn how to exercise, develop confidence, and concentrate better.
Wiggles and Giggles
This class is a parent/caregiver participation class for your little toddler. In this class, the student will learn the fundamentals of musicality and dance in a fun, creative and nurturing environment through song, dance and the use of props
Come sweat to the beat with a high energy exercise class that moves to the music of Latin America! This exercise class fuses merengue, salsa, cumbia, soca, samba, hip-hop and belly dance for an amazing, fun workout. You won't even realize you're burning calories until you feel the sweat! Ditch the workout and join the party!
By audition or invitation only. This class is designed for serious students who wish to further their dance experience or go on to a professional level. Students are required to dance a minimum of 3 hours/week. Students will compete in at least 3 regional competitions. Performance Company: By audition or invitation only. This class is also designed for serious students wishing to take their dance training to the next level. Students will perform at community events as well as impressive venues ranging from Disney World, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Celtics game performance and popular cruise lines. These Companies will also compete in at least 3 regional competitions. Students are required to dance a minimum of 3 hours/week and 2 of the three classes must be a ballet and jazz class

Throughout the season, students will have the opportunity to participate in various special workshops and seminars. Workshops will include guest teachers, master-classes, choreography, and new and exciting styles of dance. Interactive seminars will include nutrition, physical fitness, and women’s self-defense to name a few.
